Will move this to scraps later, because I don't want a stamp mingling with my pictures. XD OCD much?
Check it out: [link] EDIT: New and highly helpful link, thanks to ~The-Jubilant-Moose! Much more in depth about everything, and very useful to both asexuals and sexual people alike. Take a look! [link] EDIT 2: I get a lot of comments almost daily on this stamp. Although I still read every one I receive, I won't respond to all of them anymore. Just the ones that I find interesting, and feel like a good discussion can be shared. Thanks. The real sexual minority. Very few people understand, or even want to understand, the preferences of asexuals. The majority of asexuals either receive negative/critical reactions from family or friends in regards to their lack of interest in romance, sex, or both, while other times people consider the idea laughable and dismiss it jokingly. In a world where almost everything is centred around sex and romance, I can understand how difficult it is to fit in and receive acceptance when you 'have no identity'; nowadays, everyone expects you to be firmly founded as either straight, bi, or gay/lesbian. The majority of reactions to someone admitting that they have no interest in romantic relationships or sex is, summed up, that that person either A) has physical or mental problems, B) is 'too young' or 'a late bloomer' -- ergo, he or she has not explored romance enough yet to decide on a 'real sexual identity', (C is a repressed homosexual, or (D they 'just haven't met the right person'. (That, or asexuals and asexuality do nothing more than provide a good laugh for shallow asses who don't even bother to research it first.) While I myself am not asexual, I fully support those who are. Seriously, I've seen several cases where asexuals have mentioned their orientation, and the immediate responses are none too nice. Every time they do, some sex-obsessed moron comes along and tries to tell them how wrong they are, and that they just haven't 'felt how good it is yet, but don't worry! You'll get laid one day, and then you'll see the light!' Now watch, some 9th grade jackass browsing DA in the middle of his computer class is going to find this stamp and be like, 'aseckuallitie LOL!!!!!!!!11!1 i wsih mah hmowrk wuz azsexual soez it wud do itslf!!!!1!eleven!' |

P.S. I also think that people who want to be nuns or priests receive this kind of flack for choosing God over sex.

Because God will bless a man who feels attracted to another man, if the man vows virginity, and avoids sex/romance.
I mean, I don't want to sound rude, but homosexuality, and bisexuality are so overrated these days. God bless all you asexual people and celibates.
I still like my men, but I have had urges to become a nun too... so it's a hard call for me.

I miss the good ol' days, when gay meant happy, queer meant odd, and faggot meant a bundle of sticks...

Why does DC Comics seem to hate its own characters? They're always either trying to make someone miserable and angsty by putting them through unnecessary trauma, or they're trying to kill them.
