I guess it's about time I at least start trying to prepare for the next contest that I have in mind. Currently, I have two different ideas on which I'm brainstorming, trying to figure out which one I would rather host. I can't tell any of you what it is, though. That would spoil the surprise.

Any how, to make it as easy as possible on everyone, I'm putting up some questions regarding the subject. I'd appreciate feedback from as many of you as possible, if you have the time and energy to help me out.

1. Should I continue holding contests with a given deadline as to when entries should be turned in, or should I end it according to the number of pictures entered?

2. IF YOU CHOSE 'DEADLINE' AS YOUR ANSWER TO QUESTION 1, how many months should participants be allowed to work to complete entries?

3. Should each participant be permitted to hand in multiple entries? If so, how many pictures can they turn in at maximum?

4. At what rating should pictures be kept: PG, PG-13, R, etc.?

5. Should I continue to allow fellow deviants to vote on entries, or should I alone judge which are the winners?

6. IF 'ALLOW FELLOW DEVIANTS TO VOTE' WAS YOUR ANSWER FOR QUESTION 5, should I continue to permit 'shameless advertising', ergo, coaxing friends and watchers to vote for them?

7. IF 'ALLOW FELLOW DEVIANTS TO VOTE' WAS YOUR ANSWER FOR QUESTION 5, should participants be allowed to vote for their own entries?

8. IF 'ALLOW FELLOW DEVIANTS TO VOTE' WAS YOUR ANSWER FOR QUESTION 5, how many days should be given for voting time?

9. IF 'YOU SHOULD JUDGE' WAS YOUR ANSWER FOR QUESTION 5, should I recruit fellow judges/would anyone who cannot or would rather not produce entries be interested in participating as a judge?

10. What sort of prizes should be awarded? Free commissions, money via PayPal or snail mail, art supplies, dA subscriptions, other?

Well, I figured it was high time to finally let you all in on the most recent (and unexciting) news in my life.

First things first: A couple of you wanted me to share what happened on Halloween this year, including photos of the costume I put together and wore. But I'll have to briefly explain to you the character as who I dressed up. Those of you who know Toyman from Superman: The Animated Series will understand of what I'm talking. Basically, I created an original character, a loyal henchwoman, for Toyman called Dollface:

(Yeah, yeah, I know it looks like I'm strangling my dog in the second picture, but I'm not! XP I was rubbing/scratching her neck. She likes scratchies there. Also, we put her in a little bumblebee outfit for Halloween, so you can probably see a little bit of that in the shot. She loves wearing clothes, believe it or not. She gets all excited and starts jumping around and wagging her tail whenever you go to put a jacket or sweater on her. )

Secondly, I've been a little slow on producing artwork because I recently got some inspiration for writing fanfics again. I just finished a Dick/Babs story, but now that that's done, I am trying to juggle both drawing and writing at the same time.

I don't dislike them excessively, but I've just never found them very interesting or all that great to work with.

'Date With Destiny', with Speedy in Robin's place, and Wonder Girl in Starfire's place.

Nightwing Annual #2. The whole thing. <3

5. How long have you been following couple #6?
Since Teen Titans #50 came out and there were hints that M'gann cared for Tim.

6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop caring?
It's been done too many times now, too many people ship it, there's nothing left to do with them, and they're just kind of boring to me now.

7. Which ship do you prefer--#2 or #4?
Number 2. They're such an awesome match, especially if you use Beast Boy's cartoon personality and then Bette's personality from Beast Boys and Girls. They're both hyper and happy, and two positives make, well, a positive.

8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12.
Number 10. Because it's everywhere.

9. What interests you about #14?
Barbara finally gets a few men in her life to even out all the women Dick has in his life. XD

10. When did you stop liking #7?
When I started liking Robin/Batgirl, and then slowly started realising how overdone, overrated, over-appreciated, and over-loved those two are.

11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the series?
Never.

12. What's a song that reminds you of #5?
Under Your Spell from Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Still Robin/Batgirl. XD

Beast Boy/Flamebird and Cyborg/Raven. Because Vic and Gar are best friends, and Bette would go all happy and hyper and excited on Raven, and start picking out cute outfits for her to wear, while Raven refrains from strangling all of the bubbly energy out of her.

No, sadly.

17. Did #4 have a happy ending? Do you think one is likely?
Probably not, since it's almost unheard of.

18. What would make you start shipping #14?
Seeing them actually date in the comics.

Number 6, because I really want to see them get together! It would be so adorable! X3
