WARNING: MAY CONTAIN OFFENSIVE MATERIAL TO SOME. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T READ IT.
I know I'm just repeating myself, and maybe I'm beating a dead horse here, but I'm really fed up (again). Besides, I'm running on little to no sleep, so if one of you chooses to take everything I say personally, it's your own darn fault. Besides, I'm taking care to rant about it in my own journal, away from anyone else's page, so if you don't like what I have to say, then scram.
I am sick and tired of anime-obsessed, horny little fangirls taking every attractive male character from every fandom and turning him gay when he is NOT. I can understand and respect someone liking a canon gay pairing, but why in all hell do these girls keep taking skirt-chasing, or womanising, or morally strict characters and turning them gay just for eye candy? If you're really that desperate to see a couple of pretty boys make out, go buy a yaoi manga that actually focuses on canon gay characters and satisfy yourselves that way. For crying out loud, you don't even create your yaoi 'OTP's for the sake of something intelligent, such as -- oh, my! -- character development, exploration, or interaction. It's just because it's cute, or hot, or 'OMG KAWAII!!11!1'
Maybe I'm stereotyping yaoi fans here, but hell if anti-yaoi users on this site haven't been stereotyped into homophobes. And no, I'm not a homophobe, thank you. I'm anti-yaoi, not anti-gay/lesbian. No educated person in real life ever says, 'I'm in a yaoi/yuri relationship,' so before you shove your foot in your mouth, just don't open it. And I'm not forcing you to stop your ways, either, now am I? I'm just saying I don't like it. Hell, I'll be honest: If it's yaoi with one or two straight guys involved, I downright hate it. If you absolutely have to flame/argue with me, be my guest, but I'll tell you right now that I don't really give a damn if you're offended that I don't like your 'OTP'. If that's the case, go rant in your own journal.

People taking completely un-gay characters and making them gay when they're clearly not is very very annoying.
The only cartoon characters I ever "slash" are Slade, Robin and Red X, who I will admit are obviously straight (well, not so much with Red X, as we have no development) But Dick Grayson and Slade Wilson have had girlfriends (and wives in Slades case)
Really the only time I ever use yaoi characters apart from that is with Brice and Neeko who are my OC's.
So yes, this time I do agree about those annoying little girls slashing left right and centre.
